Nomzamo Mbatha was born on July 13, 1990 in KwaMashu, Northwest Durban, KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. She is an actress, TV personality and accountant. She became famous after she made it to the finals in 2012 MTV Base VJ Search. Nomzamo attended Bechet High School in Durban before relocating to Cape Town where she attended University of Cape Town and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (BComm Accounting) though reports shows she finished her degree course at University of South Africa.

Nomzamo’s movies includes: Isibaya as Thandeka Zungu, The Close Up, Umlilo as Khwezi Mbatha and many others. She grew up with her ground mother who is late now.
